If you are looking for a location for afterschool care, this is often closely related to school choice. Our after-school care locations collaborate with multiple primary schools. Some out-of-school care centers receive children from several primary schools, and other locations are part of a child center where education and care are accessible in one building. Our afterschool care locations are a safe and comfortable place for children between the ages of 4 and 12, with a diverse range of activities geared to the different age groups.

Afterschool care is the place where children experience "a second home" afterschool. A place where they can relax after school day and where they can participate in fun, challenging, and creative activities. A place where the children can have valuable experiences. Nothing is mandatory, and much is allowed at the after-school care. Just chilling out is also okay, and of course, we also offer space and tranquility to work on school homework if necessary.

Fun, respect, and development are central to our Afterschool care.

This provides a second home for many children. That is why the pedagogical employees of Vlietkinderen ensure that all activities contribute to the development of your child. Personal attention is our priority. Through personal attention, we know exactly when your child needs more attention or more freedom. At Vlietkinderen, quality is guaranteed, and we like to give children space, playful development is central to this. Vlietkinderen employees, who are in direct contact with children, all have a pedagogical background and work based on educational policy. We also work together with many different schools in the region. We continuously strive for coordination.

We also offer your child a wonderful time of fun through fun activities during the school holidays. We regularly visit the Stadstuin (Leidschendam) and Buitengoed Dorrepaal (Voorburg), where volunteers work on vegetable gardens together with the children. For families with both parents or single-parent families where the parent works, after-school care is often necessary to combine work and private life.
